We show you the mountains on two wheels
Mountain biking
and e-biking in Grossarl
It’s a good thing that the bicycle was invented more than two hundred years ago, in 1817! The invention saw people become free of relying on a horse or donkey for transport. All you had to do was pedal! Asides from the environmental advantages: cycling pushes your muscles, heart and circulation, you clear your head and it also boost your mood. Come on, saddle up, we’ll cycle to the Mountain pasture!
Did you know that you can’t
just go cycling in the forest in Austria?
However, in Grossarl Valley, we have 160 km
of signposted bike routes for you!
Guided e-bike tours
We invite you to a guided e-bike tour with the Tourist Office.
For example, ride to the Aigenalm, that’s a distance of approx. 10.5 km and you cover 450 metres’ altitude on the ascent and descent. An ideal tour for anyone who would like to try e-biking.
